One of my team members came to me with a challenge: "JF , it's hard sometimes to quickly determine the severity of bugs and knowing who to assign tickets to in Jira." My response? "Say no more." 😎
I opened up Claude, did a little vibe coding and a few minutes later we had the beginnings of an AI agent that:
• summarizes the ticket
- • recommends who should own it
- • suggests the severity/priority
- • has a dashboard with insights (like time saved versus assigning tickets manually)
This is the part of AI that excites me most; removing friction from work so teams can move faster and focus on the important stuff.
Will it be perfect on day one? Probably not. We'll still validate the severity levels, refine the logic, and iterate as we learn. But that's the beauty of AI experimentation right now: the barrier to building and testing ideas has become incredibly low.
Also mildly terrifying that "a few minutes later" is now a legitimate software development timeline. 😂
Really looking forward to seeing where this simple AI agent goes next. In the meantime, love reading about your own AI-use cases.
Stay curious! ✌🏼
